About this role
Capco is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity, focusing on health and safety within the oil and gas sector. This role is dedicated to delivering specialized occupational and operational safety services, ensuring compliance with rigorous SMS requirements.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical assessments, audits, and inspections of both onshore and offshore installations, as well as managing safety training programs. You will also support supplier contract management and oversee the management of safety anomalies and performance indicators.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational safety within the oil and gas sector, with proven experience in health surveillance (evidence in CTPS required)
- Degree in Engineering or Architecture with a postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering
- Active registration with the professional council in accordance with Law 7.410 of November 27, 1985
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized occupational and operational safety services
- Provide technical services to meet SMS requirements
- Manage and execute safety training programs
- Conduct technical assessments, audits, and safety inspections of onshore and offshore installations
- Support supplier contract management with specialized safety services
- Manage safety anomaly tracking and resolution
- Oversee SMS performance indicators and contingency management
- Perform critical analysis of accidents and incidents
