About this role

DÜS Eckert is the leading provider of German language and integration courses in Düsseldorf and Essen. As a freelance teacher, you support people in learning English and developing professional language skills remotely. You start teaching 3 lessons a week on Thursday and Friday mornings at €30 per 45-minute lesson.

You deliver engaging lessons by designing communicative and learner-centered experiences. Tailor content to business needs with relevant vocabulary and workplace communication. Teach practical skills for handling meetings, presentations, and everyday business interactions.

Work closely with administration and quality management to track learning progress. Join a friendly team of qualified teaching and administrative staff. Enjoy a collaborative partnership addressing each other informally on equal footing.

Requirements

Native-level proficiency in English (C2+) and German on B2 level (required)
Confident in online teaching using digital tools and innovative methods (required)
Access to reliable technical tools like high-speed internet, quality microphone, and webcam (required)
Located in the EU (required)
Comfortable in intercultural contexts and open to new methods and professional development (required)
Degree in English Studies, TEFL or similar certification (preferred)

Responsibilities
