Cremorne, AU · Full-time · A$180,000 – A$220,000
About this role
At SEEK, we serve a noble purpose: to help people live more fulfilling and productive working lives and to help organisations succeed. As a Staff Engineer on the Developer Experience team, you will set the technical direction and raise the engineering bar across cross-functional squads, shaping how SEEK builds world-class technology solutions.
You will lead the technical design and delivery of complex, cloud-first software solutions, shaping and evolving golden paths, self-service tooling, and internal platforms so teams can ship safely and quickly. You will be a trusted technical authority, shaping architecture, driving best practices, and ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and fit for the future.
Part of Engineering Enablement in Engineering Platforms, the Developer Experience team exists to unlock the full potential of every engineer at SEEK. You will collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Data Engineers, and multidisciplinary squad members across the Candidate, Hirer, and Platform domains within SEEK's APAC matrix structure.
Beyond delivery, you will actively grow the capability of engineers around you, mentoring and modelling best-practice behaviour while contributing to SEEK's broader communities of practice. Expect a great investment in your career development with access to workshops, conferences, and courses while you work alongside seasoned experts.
