About this role

We are looking for a QA Engineer (SDET / Automation) to join our fully remote software development team. You will play a key role in shaping our QA strategy for a legal-tech and fintech SAAS product.

You will work closely with developers and architects to design and implement robust test automation for both frontend and backend services. Your work will help ensure that our systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.

We are looking for a quick learner who is willing to grow with us. You will be part of a small, highly collaborative team where clear communication and shared ownership are essential.

This role offers the opportunity to influence test strategy and automation architecture from the ground up. You will document test plans, test cases, and automation architecture in a clear and maintainable way.

Requirements

Professional experience in QA / SDET roles: 3+ years in software testing with a strong focus on automation
Experience writing tests for Python and JavaScript/TypeScript projects
Experience testing backend APIs and services with tools such as Pytest, Swagger, and Postman
Experience with modern frontend test frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer
Ability to plan testing strategies for features and projects, including scope, risk, and coverage considerations
Comfortable working in a small, highly collaborative team and communicating clearly
Experience with Git-based workflows and collaborating via pull requests and code reviews
Ability to document test plans, test cases, and automation architecture in a clear and maintainable way
