About this role
The Senior Analyst position creates advanced reporting content using industry standard analytics tools for clinical and financial operational divisions. This role focuses on interpretive clinical reports relevant to patient care and clinical operations. Responsibilities emphasize precision in data handling for healthcare efficiency.
Daily tasks include writing interpretive clinical reports and working with the clinical IT group to design and modify queries for ad-hoc and automated reporting. Utilize database software such as Sybase, SQL, MS Access to support clinical departments. Analyze report writer software compatibility to embed reports in users’ front-end applications.
Actively practice customer service with flexibility, open communication, and accountability toward external and internal customers. Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and ethics while displaying a team approach by integrating ideas and offering help. Collaborate with clinical teams, managers, and senior managers to prioritize requests per data governance principles.
Ensure an efficient environment through SQL standards and custom monitoring to proactively identify issues. Expand or modify business intelligence systems to improve workflow and serve new purposes. Provide Help Desk documentation on troubleshooting and retain records on report requests, specifications, and version history.
Requirements
