The Integrity team is looking for an Integrity Assessor to verify compliance with ISCC requirements and safeguard the consistency, credibility, and integrity of the ISCC certification system. Your main duties include conducting on-site and remote Integrity Assessments with travel activities coordinated from the ISCC office in Cologne. Prepare and coordinate schedules and audit plans for assessments at certified companies and certification bodies across Europe. Cover diverse scopes like waste and residues, farms, traders, and processing facilities, verifying traceability documents and mass balances.

Focus on social issues such as human rights, fair working conditions, and conservation of natural resources or biodiversity. Compile Integrity Assessment Reports and contribute to the continuous development of the ISCC System and Integrity Programme. Work with highly motivated and diverse teams making a real difference.

Reside in Europe with high willingness to travel locally in the region. Bring independence free of conflicts of interest and proficiency in English. Advance sustainability in global supply chains through structured, accurate assessments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in certification or quality management, preferably related to ISCC - Audit experience is mandatory
  • Completed university studies or comparable qualification in relevant field (environmental studies, chemistry, bioenergy or similar)
  • Independence and free of conflicts of interest
  • Audit experience in traceability, mass balance, social compliance, greenhouse gas emissions and/or land use change
  • Experience in waste and residue-based biofuel supply chains and/or agricultural feedstocks
  • High proficiency in English (advanced); additional languages advantageous
  • Understanding of global supply chains and complex organisational set-ups
  • Residing in Europe, with high willingness and availability to travel locally in the region

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site and remote Integrity Assessments and associated travel activities in coordination with the ISCC office in Cologne
  • Prepare and coordinate schedules and audit plans for Integrity Assessments
  • Conduct ISCC Integrity Assessments at certified companies and certification bodies with regional focus on Europe
  • Perform witness audits on certification body auditors according to ISCC standards in diverse markets
  • Verify incoming and outgoing traceability documents, mass balances, and other sustainability criteria
  • Focus on social issues in human rights, fair working conditions, and conservation of natural resources or biodiversity
  • Compile Integrity Assessment Reports
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the ISCC System and Integrity Programme
