About this role
This remote, full-time 12-week internship is with Trustbridge, a venture of Vulcury. Trustbridge helps companies with complex, custom part requirements across aerospace, medical devices, automotive, industrial hardware, and startups connect with the right manufacturing partners globally. We combine engineering judgment, supplier relationships, and technology for faster, better sourcing.
As Manufacturing Strategy & Supplier Development Intern, work hands-on with real RFQs, technical drawings, and manufacturing suppliers. Act as a bridge between customers, internal teams, and factories to match right suppliers to jobs. Discuss processes, tolerances, lead times, and pricing directly with vendors like CNC and sheet metal manufacturers.
Work closely with the CEO, Asia venture lead, and product team on live customer orders. India and Southeast Asia are critical growth markets for expansion. Your contributions support building supplier relationships and operational tools like RFQ tracking.
This is not a typical classroom-style internship with direct impact on scaling a manufacturing startup. Help execute expansion strategy by mapping regional capabilities and cost structures. Identify pain points in RFQ review and supplier coordination for product feedback.
