This remote role oversees multiple complex senior housing capital projects throughout the Southwest, managing contractors, construction schedules, and stakeholder communications. Reside in the Houston area within the southwest region.

Manage daily on-site activities across multiple projects, serving as the primary point of contact for renovation activities. Conduct frequent property inspections to ensure safety precautions, supervise contractors, and escalate risks. Collaborate to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and in conformance to Scope of Work and Contract Documents.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field highly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ related work experience
  • Knowledge of real estate construction a plus
  • Must reside in the Houston area within southwest region
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Familiarity with overseeing contractors, construction schedules, and Scope of Work
  • Experience ensuring safety precautions and physical integrity of properties

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute daily on-site activities for multiple projects
  • Coordinate and participate in project meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Conduct frequent property inspections to ensure safety, supervise contractors, and escalate risks
  • Establish expectations and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
  • Prepare and update weekly project status reports and construction progress schedules
  • Ensure project close-out documents are in order and filed appropriately
  • Provide administrative support and other assigned tasks as needed
