About this role

The Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine seeks a Clinical Research Associate focused on projects integrating AI tools into clinical care. This fully remote position requires candidates to reside in Texas and maintain Texas residency at all times during employment.

Work closely with principal investigators to support day-to-day study activities and progress of clinical research projects. Help coordinate, conduct, and analyze interview data related to AI-based defacing technologies in medical imaging.

Attend project meetings and maintain detailed summaries of meeting outcomes. Participate in team discussions while ensuring compliance with study protocols, IRB requirements, and institutional policies.

Assist with submission of new grant applications and manuscripts, including document preparation and data management. Draft IRB amendments and progress reports to support project objectives in a collaborative academic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two years of relevant experience
  • Master's Degree or higher in Social or Behavioral Sciences (or related fields) preferred
  • Demonstrates interest in mental health research or related initiatives
  • Skilled writer, with the ability to take a lead role in preparing results and manuscripts for publication
  • Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including mixed-methods approaches
  • Exceptional communication skills, including experience conducting interviews and engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
