As Senior Accounting Manager (Statutory & Tax Support), you serve as the interface between Group Accounting, Group Tax, auditors, and the Shared Service Center. You take operative responsibility and contribute ideas to continuously improve processes. Bring accounting to the next level with us.

Your daily work involves coordinating annual financial statements under HGB, supporting audits with direct auditor communication, and aiding tax declarations with Group Tax. You ensure smooth Shared Service Center operations, optimize internal controls, and handle timely data exchanges. Collaborate closely with internal business partners across departments.

Requirements

Completed degree in business economics (at least Bachelor) or training as tax specialist
3–5 years professional experience in accounting, auditing or tax consulting (Big4 experience advantageous)
ACCA qualification or willingness for further training is a plus
Very good knowledge of German commercial and tax law; IFRS know-how advantageous
Fluent German and English skills in spoken and written word
Structured, independent working style and solution-oriented approach
Enjoyment of communication with diverse stakeholders in international environment

Responsibilities

Contribute to preparation and coordination of annual financial statements under HGB and support consolidated financial statements
Act as point of contact for Group Accounting on balance sheet and accounting questions and overarching projects like Account Clean-up, ERP-Migration, database revisions
Support annual and consolidated financial statement audits including direct communication with auditors
Provide input for tax returns in close cooperation with Group Tax and external consultants
Coordinate Shared Service Center professionally and ensure smooth processes
Review and optimize internal controls in monthly and annual closings
Ensure timely data exchange and process requests
Collaborate closely with internal business partners from other departments
