About this role

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services across industries to ensure safety, authenticity, and accuracy of products from food to medicines. The Product Manager is accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of the IT product 'eLIMS-Clinical Diagnostic Europe', the main Laboratory Information Management System for Clinical Diagnostics in Europe and worldwide.

Represent the voice of the business and users, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, compliance, and cost efficiency. Define and maintain product vision, objectives, value proposition, and translate business strategy into a clear product roadmap. Own product success metrics including value, adoption, satisfaction, and cost.

Work closely with business stakeholders and IT roles such as Architects, Developers, Deployment Managers, Operations Engineers, and Quality Managers. Act as the single point of contact, collect and prioritize business needs and user feedback, and facilitate decision-making. Communicate roadmap, priorities, and trade-offs transparently to ensure alignment.

Own and maintain the product backlog, prioritize epics, features, and requirements based on value while balancing functional, regulatory, and operational needs. Collaborate with delivery teams for planning, execution, and validation of increments meeting business expectations. Manage full lifecycle from ideation to retirement, driving continuous improvement from data, incidents, and feedback.

Requirements

  • Experience managing end-to-end product lifecycles for IT software
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Understanding of clinical diagnostics business processes and workflows
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in clinical diagnostics (e.g., Europe-focused standards)
  • Proficiency in backlog management, prioritization, and agile delivery practices
  • Ability to balance customer value, technical feasibility, and cost efficiency
  • Experience collaborating with IT architects, developers, and operations teams
