Principal Category Manager - Remote

As a Principal Category Manager, you will manage the designated category, accountable for all sourcing strategies and implementation. Fully remote role reporting to the Deputy Director, Category Execution.

Develop alternative sources, including low-cost countries, and leverage category spend globally with a focus on cost efficiencies, product quality, innovation, and effective supply chain models. Manage segmentation of assigned spend into sub-commodity groups to achieve goals. Review analysis from PowerBI and other tools for insights into spend drivers and cost projections.

Serve as primary relationship owner for suppliers in contract manufacturing, PCBA's, and cabinet assembly. Conduct regular business reviews with main and strategic suppliers alongside teams and senior leadership. Develop productive working relationships with peers in Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Procurement.

Lead execution of category strategy through preferred supplier lists, right-sizing non-preferred suppliers, and long-term agreements with year-over-year improvements. Research and communicate industry trends, best practices, and competitive offerings for innovation and productivity. Supervise 1 direct report while creating plans to deliver against key metrics.
