Establish forecast strategies by understanding the portfolio, ABC classification, and demand profile. Maintain precise 18-month sales forecasts at SKU level using historical data, market trends, and advanced planning systems. Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and procurement teams for alignment.

Prepare and lead S&OP forecast meetings, documenting decisions and updating systems promptly. Analyze KPIs to identify forecast variances, alert teams, and develop corrective actions for better inventory and service levels. Work in a hybrid mode with offices overlooking Old Montreal and the St. Lawrence River.

Identify risks like supply disruptions or market changes and propose mitigation strategies. Contribute to annual budgeting by challenging business assumptions with data. Measure the impact of your talent on an ambitious, sustainable project with rapid organizational growth.

Requirements

Knowledge of portfolio management, ABC classification, and demand profiling
Proficiency in advanced planning systems for statistical forecasting
Experience analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and business analyses
Familiarity with S&OP processes and forecast meetings
Ability to manage SKU-level forecasts over 18 months
Skills in identifying forecast biases and developing corrective actions
Understanding of supply chain risks and mitigation strategies
Analytical capabilities for KPIs like inventory levels, freshness, and service

Responsibilities

Understand the portfolio, ABC classification, and demand profile to establish forecast strategies
Elaborate and maintain accurate 18-month sales forecasts at SKU level using historical sales data, market trends, business analyses, and statistical forecasts via advanced planning system
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to gather promo activities, new product launches, seasonal trends, and update forecast system regularly
Prepare, lead, and document S&OP forecast meetings, reflect monthly decisions in the system, and collaborate on changes beyond thresholds
Analyze forecast variances against plan, alert sales and marketing teams, and develop actions to correct biases improving inventory levels, freshness, and service
Prepare and present regular demand planning reports to key stakeholders
Identify and communicate risks affecting demand planning such as supply disruptions or market changes, and propose mitigation strategies
Contribute to annual budgeting exercise, understand top-down S&OP approach, and challenge business assumptions with data and business knowledge
